Plain Hackled Corixa Fly Image

This Corixa fly imitates the "Water Boatman", a small bug that lives in the shallow waters of most lakes.

The fly is fished on a floating line and long leader, can be fished singularly or as part of a team of damsels.

When fished singularly allow the fly to descend, then a long pull and allow the fly to descend once again. Don't try to cast the flies out too far, the waterboatmen can be very close to the bank.
