A great fly to use when anything is visible on the water. This fly when tied in various colours and sizes, can match almost anything on the water. The pheasant tail body and CDC Hackle have great natural floatant capabilities and hence there is no hackle needed on this fly.
The CDC wing can sometimes get slimed by fish which can cause the fly to sink. The best way to remedy this is to do quick wipe and apply some cdc oil to the wing.
